HAMMOND | The 32nd annual Bishop Noll Institute Emporium will be held April 26 at Bishop Noll Institute 1519 Hoffman St. A cocktail reception begins at 6:30 p.m., and doors open to the gala itself at 7.
The emporium is the school's largest single-day fundraiser, and supports the Bishop Noll Institute Scholarship Fund.

Guests will have an opportunity to place bids on an array of silent and live auction items, with auctioneer Rick Shepard in attendance. Highlights of the live auction include the opportunity to take home the 1953 Heisman Trophy belonging to Johnny Lattner for one week, the chance to dine in the Napa Valley home of chef Joe Papach of the world famous French Laundry restaurant, and a one-week stay at a Wyndham resort.

Silent auction items include tickets to many sporting events, including Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs and University of Notre Dame games, as well as gift certificates to many local fine dining establishments.
A unique array of food will be provided by Comfort’s Catering of St. John. Guests will dance the night away to music provided by DJ and entertainer Mark Nilsson.
A special “live scholarship auction” will be held to raise funds for the Dorothy LaMere Memorial Scholarship.LaMere was a longtime English teacher at BNI who passed away in November at the age of 88.
The annual Warrior Winnings Raffle drawing will take place at the end of the night. Tickets for the raffle are available for $10 each, or six for $50. Winner need not be present, and raffle tickets are also available by calling (219) 932-9058.
