A celebration of music and surfing to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the sixth annual Pipeline to a Cure gala will honor Mike and Christine Ness, longtime supporters of the cause. Mike Ness, lead singer of Social Distortion, will be joined by other musicians and athletes in supporting the nonprofit.
The party begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails. The program includes a dinner, silent auction and live auction.
Popular ’80s cover band Flashback Heart Attack and island soul-duo the Kalama Brothers will play – nothing like a little pressure knowing Ness is listening.
The event also coincides with the start of the Vans U.S. Open of Surfing.
